The man who murdered Christina Grimmie following a June 10 concert lived “like a hermit” and had apparently never met the singer, but was infatuated with her and had spent recent months changing his appearance in an effort to win her over, according to information released on Wednesday by police in Orlando, Florida.
Kevin James Loibl, age 27, took a taxicab to Orlando on June 9 from his St. Petersburg home, bringing along two 9mm Glock handguns and extra ammunition. He spent that night in a hotel. Following Grimmie’s June 10 performance at The Plaza Live, he approached her as she signed autographs and opened fire, shooting her in the head once and the torso three times. Grimmie’s brother Marcus then tackled Loibl, who broke free, backed against a wall, and killed himself with a single shot to the head.
Christina Grimmie was pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center just before 11:00 p.m. She was buried in a private ceremony in her hometown in New Jersey on June 16. A public memorial in nearby Medford attracted thousands of family, friends and fans.
Police interviewed several of Loibl’s co-workers including Cory Dennington, self-described as Loibl’s “only friend in the world”, who said Loibl had an unrealistic infatuation with her and was constantly watching her videos and monitoring her online activity. Dennington said Loibl had lost weight, whitened his teeth, and gotten eye and hair surgery in an effort to look better for Grimmie, whom he considered his “soul mate”. Loibl would get defensive when told hoping for a relationship with the singer was “illogical”.
Witnesses also said Loibl had not mentioned attending Grimmie’s Orlando concert, and none of them knew of any threats. His father and brother did not know Loibl owned any guns, police said. Each weapon was purchased legally at one of two St. Petersburg gun shops.
Investigators were unable to crack the encryption on Loibl’s phone, and it appeared he had destroyed his computer’s hard drive. Police believe Loibl acted alone and, since he is deceased, they closed their case on Wednesday. They offered no motive for the shooting.

You’ve probably seen it while taking a ride in someone else’s car, or you’ve probably had it happen to your own car. It’s the dreaded cracked windshield. It might start out small, but once you’ve seen that crack in your windshield you know it’s just a matter of time before you need to do something about it. The following are a few reasons why you should take these fractures very seriously and invest in Auto Glass in Muskegon as soon as possible.
Most people underestimate the importance of having a windshield that’s 100% intact. The windshield of your vehicle has to be one of the most important safety features of your car or truck. There’s a reason why it’s partly referred to as a “shield.” This piece of glass helps to keep things from getting into your car, and also helps to keep you in your car if an accident were to ever happen.
Being that the windshield is so important, you should have it repaired or replaced as soon as you see a chip or crack. However, some drivers make the mistake of waiting until they absolutely need to do something. If you had a crack in your windshield, and an object came flying toward it while you were driving down the road, that single crack could weaken your chances of staying safe. At this point, the integrity of the window is compromised, and the glass can easily be broken.
Don’t make the mistake of going with an ‘affordable’ windshield repair service. Skimping on a repair for Auto Glass in Muskegon can cost you dearly in the long run. There have been incidents where these affordable services don’t properly install windshields. A windshield that hasn’t been installed correctly could be in danger of falling out while you’re driving. This is why choosing a good service to properly install your windshield is just as important as having the window replaced in the first place. Find a certified shop with valid certification for windshield installation.
If you’ve noticed a crack in your windshield, or your windshield has been smashed completely, find a local certified shop immediately. Visit us in order to have your windshield properly repaired or replaced.

In a press release Friday, Kitchener Rangers Head coach and General Manager Peter DeBoer announced the trade to the Knights. In return for obtaining Mason, the Rangers have sent the Knights, Centre Phil Varone, Defenceman Steve Tarasuk along with 2nd, 3rd and 4th round draft picks in 2011 and a 2nd round pick in 2012.
Mason said that he had an enjoyable time playing for the London Knights, but nonetheless, he believes that he has a bright future playing for the Kitchener Rangers. He also notes that he doesn’t want the trade to distract him from playing in the Gold Medal Game, against Team Sweden.
Team Canada won the game in overtime 3-2.

Probably one of the most prevalent for of software out there are graphic design software for PC. These programs are being quite popular when used hand in hand with digital media and cameras. Although they been around for quite sometime many people still wonder what they are used for.
There are many uses for graphic design software. And as with any software there can be good uses for it and also bad uses for it. This article covers some possible uses that one may have for a graphic design software once installed into their computer system. In fact for most stores nowadays, new computers are sometime bundled with graphics software that comes as an add on or promotion for new buyers.
The most basic use for this kind of application is that it provides very cheap entertainment. Those of us who like to doodle on scratchpads and notebooks when we are bored will find it as a good alternative. It is a good way to learn the ropes of digital enhancement and creation.
With many tutorials and downloadable graphics out there n the internet, you can actually get a good idea on how to make your own graphics. Should you get pretty good at it you can also sell these online. Many people started out this way just by tinkering around with the program and getting pretty good later on.
Pictures can be downloaded from many different sites and you can modify them also. However, some people modify pictures for not so good intentions and this is not what you should do. One thing that you should not do is to alter the images of well known people to put them in a bad light. Regardless of this, touching up and modifying texture work on existing pictures can be had in a breeze with the right application.
Most small businesses have these kind of programs installed on their computers to aid in marketing programs. They usually use them to design in house letterheads, calling cards and stationary to forego the cost of letting an outside printer do it for them. It is a great way to save on operations expenses.
Still other businesses go one step further and use these applications in doing their in house communications. These can come in the form of small signs, newsletters and even magazines. There is no limit with what one can do for the practical applications for these graphic programs. Still, many businesses up to now are coming up with new and novel ways to put it to good use for higher productivity and creativity.
In sum therefore there is no limit to what you can do with this kind of program. Whether it is just for personal enjoyment, for profit or for productivity there is bound to be some use for it later on. If you have not already tried one out, then it is recommended you do so to let your creative nature flow out so you can enjoy the thrill of drawing and art again.

Sweden’s first royal wedding since 1976 took place Saturday when Crown Princess Victoria, 32, married her long-time boyfriend and former personal trainer, Daniel Westling, 36. The ceremony took place at Stockholm Cathedral.
Over 1,200 guests, including many rulers, politicians, royals and other dignitaries from across the world, attended the wedding, which cost an estimated 20 million Swedish kronor. Victoria wore a wedding dress with five-metre long train designed by Pär Engsheden. She wore the same crown that her mother, Queen Silvia, wore on her wedding day 34 years previously, also on June 19. Victoria’s father, King Carl XVI Gustaf, walked Victoria down the aisle, which was deemed untraditional by many. In Sweden, the bride and groom usually walk down the aisle together, emphasising the country’s views on equality. Victoria met with Daniel half-way to the altar, where they exchanged brief kisses, and, to the sounds of the wedding march, made their way to the the silver altar. She was followed by ten bridesmaids. The couple both had tears in their eyes as they said their vows, and apart from fumbling when they exchanged rings, the ceremony went smoothly.
Following the ceremony, the couple headed a fast-paced procession through central Stockholm on a horse-drawn carriage, flanked by police and security. Up to 500,000 people are thought to have lined the streets. They then boarded the Vasaorden, the same royal barge Victoria’s parents used in their wedding, and traveled through Stockholm’s waters, accompanied by flyover of 18 fighter jets near the end of the procession. A wedding banquet followed in the in the Hall of State of the Royal Palace.
Controversy has surrounded the engagement and wedding between the Crown Princess and Westling, a “commoner”. Victoria met Westling as she was recovering from bulemia in 2002. He owned a chain of gymnasiums and was brought in to help bring Victoria back to full health. Westling was raised in a middle-class family in Ockelbo, in central Sweden. His father managed a social services centre, and his mother worked in a post office. When the relationship was made public, Westling was mocked as an outsider and the king was reportedly horrified at the thought of his daughter marrying a “commoner”, even though he did so when he married Silvia. Last year, Westling underwent transplant surgery for a congenital kidney disorder. The Swedish public have been assured that he will be able to have children and that his illness will not be passed on to his offspring.
Westling underwent years of training to prepare for his new role in the royal family, including lessons in etiquette, elocution, and multi-lingual small talk; and a makeover that saw his hair being cropped short, and his plain-looking glasses and clothes being replaced by designer-wear.
Upon marrying the Crown Princess, Westling took his wife’s ducal title and is granted the style “His Royal Highness”. He is now known as HRH Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland. He also has his own coat-of-arms and monogram. When Victoria assumes the throne and becomes Queen, Daniel will not become King, but assume a supportive role, similar to that of Prince Phillip, the husband of the United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth II.

Divers from the Philippine Coast Guard and Navy were given a clean bill of health from any effects from the toxic waters surrounding the sunken passenger ferry, MV Princess of the Stars off the coast of Romblon province.
Fifty six diving personnel tasked to retrieve bodies of passengers trapped inside the ferry will undergo more tests on Saturday for any ill effects from pesticides that are suspected to have leaked in the cargo hold of the ferry.
Retrieval operations for the bodies of passengers were suspended on Friday when the cargo manifest of the ship showed large quantities of a highly toxic pesticide called endosulfan.
Authorities feared that the pesticides could have contaminated the waters around the sunken ferry and could prove fatal to the diving crew.
Divers started to complain on Thursday of experiencing skin irritation after surfacing.
The Philippines government slammed the ferry’s owners for not immediately divulging the contents of the ferry’s cargo hold and threatened to add other possible criminal charges against the owners.
Environment officials are concerned that the pesticide could cause a severe damage to the delicate aquatic environment around Romblon province.

In the United States, a suspended Pennsylvania state trooper has been convicted of first-degree murder for killing his girlfriend’s estranged husband.
Kevin Foley, 43, faces a mandatory life sentence without parole for slashing to death John Yelenic, a Blairsville dentist who was in the final stages of divorcing his wife, Michele. Foley’s attorney said he plans to appeal the decision. Prosecutors did not seek the death penalty.
Foley previously said he “loathed Dr. Yelenic” and asked another fellow trooper to help kill him. During his testimony, which lasted several hours, Foley claimed he was joking and had no true intention of carrying out the threat, but the Indiana County jury rejected that defense after about six hours of deliberations.
John Yelenic was found dead in his home on April 13, 2006, one day before he was planning on signing his divorce papers. Charges were brought against Foley in September 2007, more than 17 months after the murder.
Foley, who had been on suspension from the Pennsylvania State Police, was himself the final witness to take the stand Wednesday in the trial. Foley insisted he was innocent during his testimony, and even made jokes that the jury laughed at on a few occasions.
“I never made a threat with the intention of carrying it out,” Foley said under cross-examination by the prosecution.
When Senior Deputy Attorney General Anthony Krastek pressed Foley for what was funny about asking another state trooper to help him kill Yelenic, Foley answered, “There isn’t any joke. It’s just my personality, my behavior (with co-workers).”
Prosecutors said Foley killed Yelenic after going to the dentist’s house to confront him over the terms of the divorce. Prosecutors claim Foley slashed Yelenic several times with a knife and pushed his head through a small window. Yelenic bled to death.
“John has his justice tonight,” Mary Ann Clark, a cousin of Yelenic, told MSNBC. “John deserved this; he was the most wonderful person in the world. He died the most horrible death and tonight, this is his night. The system worked.”
Foley had been living with Michele Yelenic for two years at the time of the homicide. Prosecutors previously said Foley and Michele helped perpetuate rumors that Dr. Yelenic molested their son. John and Michele Yelenic had been separated in 2002. Michele Yelenic stood to collect Dr. Yelenic’s estate and a US$1 million life insurance policy, and could lose about $2,500 a month in support if the divorce was finalized, a Pennsylvania grand jury previously determined.
Michele Yelenic, who has not appeared at the trial, may face legal action herself, media reports indicated. A sentencing hearing for Foley is scheduled for June 1.
