This year’s Leisure Taiwan trade show (a.k.a Taiwan Sport Recreation and Leisure Show) started yesterday, with 131 companies participating including sports media companies such as ESPN and VideoLand Television, businesses selling sports equipment and fitness clubs.

There were also a variety of sports being played in the arena built for the trade show. The events included a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, free style shooting, and bicycle test-riding. In addition, conferences discussed issues related to sports and physical education.

A major topic in the trade show was energy-efficiency and, as a result, bicycles and similar sports equipment were being heavily promoted.

Next Tuesday, companies from the electronics industry plan to promote their industry at “2008 Digital E-Park.” In previous years, organizations from the electronics industry have showcased their products at Leisure Taiwan instead of at the Digital E-Park, so this move has reduced the number of markets covered by Leisure Taiwan.

Staffordshire hoard goes on display in British Museum in London, England

Wednesday, November 4, 2009

Some of the notable pieces from the gold and silver hoard which was found in a private field in Staffordshire, England by a metal-detector user have been put on display in the British Museum in the city of London.

Approximately 1,500 pieces were found in July of this year; the discovery was reported by news sources in September. The value of the hoard itself is still being checked. 18 of the pieces have now gone on display in the museum in London, England, and can be seen by members of the public.

Fred Johnson, who is the owner of the land in which the hoard was found, said: “It’s been an incredible experience. I’m overwhelmed by it all. They say this will change the history books; it’s a strange thought that came from something lying in my field all this time. I’m trying to keep a level head about it. I’m trying not to think at all about the value of it.” Johnson will share the sum of the value of the hoard with Terry Herbert, who found the pieces. The hoard is believed to date back to the 7th century.

“People laugh at metal detectorists,” Herbert said in late September. “I’ve had people go past and go ‘beep beep, he’s after pennies’. Well no, we are out there to find this kind of stuff and it is out there.”

What is interesting about the hoard as a whole is all the objects are associated with war to some or a greater extent.

Michael Lewis is the deputy head of the Department of Portable Antiquities in the British Museum. Speaking to BBC News about this event, he said: “The view is that it was probably in some sort of container but that has not survived and it was deliberately hoarded, put into the ground, what is unclear is why, and I suppose what we find is they would have been objects that had been stripped from the enemies’ weapons.

“What is interesting about the hoard as a whole is all the objects are associated with war to some or a greater extent. What the hoard consists of is mainly gold objects, there are some silver ones, basically they have been stripped from whatever they were on for instance sword fittings. What it demonstrates is that the Anglo-Saxons as a people were very able to do amazing things with objects and I reckon people nowadays attempting to make these objects would have great difficulty in doing so.”

Five Easy Ways To Relax And Focus Your Mind In Minutes

By Michaiel Bovenes

Unlike the brain, your mind has no boundaries and can be scattered all over the place. There are many easy ways to relax your mind. All intense exercise, jogging, meditation or mental games like chess or billiards will help to focus your mind. However, most people do not have time to jog five miles or shoot a game of pool when they most need to focus. Also, these activities dont necessarily lead to relaxation. Here are some simple and easy methods to help you both relax and focus your mind in minutes.

To succeed at focusing your mind, it is important to understand that your mind is not your brain. Your brain is the physical apparatus that tunes in and expresses your mind. For instance, your brain can identify a joke, but its your mind that has a sense of humor and makes you laugh. Your brain can identify opportunities, but it is your mind that chooses them or not. Like a computer, your brain doesnt have the power of choice, your mind does. Your brain is similar to a television set. It is a receiver of the airwaves that carry information (thought). Your mind produces the airwaves (information-thoughts) of your consciousness, your personality, and your spirit. It is your brains function to receive and interpret those messages and express them.

Your mind is pure consciousness. It is ageless, non tangible consciousness that contains energy which includes your beliefs, attitudes, thoughts and feelings (emotion), imagination, creativity, memories, hopes and dreams. Your brain is the receiver of your mind. Its purpose is to organize, plan and express your minds information. Knowing how to relax and focus the energy of your mind can help you discover yourself and help you to make trustworthy decisions to live a peaceful life.

Your Imagination is the star pupil of the mind. Your imagination is incredibly powerful. It has the basis of your body mind connection. What you hold and see in your mind affects your body function, chemistry and autonomic systems.

Body Mind Connection Test:

Read the next paragraph slowly and let your mind create the experience in your imagination.

With you eyes open, think about a lemon. Imagine that this lemon is large, with a waxy yellow-pitted skin. It is shiny and beautiful. Now imagine that a knife is cutting the lemon in half, as the blade breaks the skin a spritz of lemon juice squirts out and the juice runs down the blade of the knife. You can smell the lemon juice. Now imagine you are taking half of that lemon and squeezing the juice into your mouth. The bitter lemon juice is swirling over your tongue and and swallow it.

Now, did anything occur in your mouth as your read and imagined that lemon?

[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKFwgBPJ1Jk[/youtube]

Did you find your mouth watering more than normal?

Most people do. Your mind stores the memory of lemon juice and your past experiences. Simply by imagining the lemon you altered the moisture in your mouth. The saliva glands are regulated by the autonomic nervous system. This system controls your heart rate, blood pressure, immune function, digestive, respiratory, circulatory systems and much more.

The secret of hypnosis is using the power of your mind (imagination) to communicate directly to your body, creating change. This is commonly known as your body-mind connection. Everyone has it, but most do not consciously use it to benefit their lives.

Now think about how easy that was for you to do. Imagine if you closed your eyes and really focused on that exercise, how much more effective it could be. My guided meditations all use imagery to help you communicate to your subconscious mind and generate positive influence and change over your mind and body. It works, all you need to do is close your eyes, and let the meditation guide you through the process.

I have formulated five powerful techniques to pick or choose from.

Try any of them or if you are really scattered then do all five I have listed below.

Five Relaxation Techniques to Focus Your Mind

Technique One: Breathe Slowly.

Begin by inhaling a deep breath through your nose and as you slowly exhale through your mouth, mentally repeat the word relax, in your mind. Repeat 3-4 times. You can say the word, relax out loud at first, but then practice silently repeating the word, like a mantra. Next focus your awareness on what has captured your attention. What are you thinking or worrying about? Is your mind in the past or the future? Are you thinking about someone in particular? Explore what has captured your attention and then repeat the breathing exercise above to release it with your breath.

Tip: You can visualize that as you exhale, you are breathing out the thoughts and feelings from your mind through your mouth, like bubbles floating off into the distance.

Technique Two: Write.

This exercise will help you gain clarity and perspective. Find some paper and write down your thoughts. This will help you slow down your thinking and release whats on your mind. As you write, remind yourself I have these thoughts I am not my thoughts; I have these feelings I am not my feelings. Let the words flow out of you and write them down without editing or being concerned with grammar or spelling.

To clear your consciousness fast express in writing what is on your mind. Then take these papers and destroy them. Tear them up and throw them away, flush then down the toilet or burn them. You want to destroy the writing with gusto and intensity. Mentally tell yourself, I am letting go of these thoughts and feelings. I am freeing my mind. This technique is great for insomnia, on restless nights, like I described above.

Tip: An important fact, you can not write as fast as you think, so when you write down your thoughts you will slow down your thinking automatically. This is one of the benefits of journaling and why it is considered a meditative experience. It slows your mind down and focuses your attention quickly.

Technique Three: Hum.

Take a few moments and hum the lyrics of a favorite song. Concentrate on remembering the lyrics and feel the vibration of humming in your throat, face and chest. This will benefit you two ways: 1. Concentration and remembering the song will focus your mind. 2. The vibration of humming will ground you into the sensation of your physical body. It is great technique and you can do this anywhere at anytime. After just a few minutes, you will feel a difference.

Technique Four: Visualize.

Follow this simple guided meditation. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply three times and mentally (silently) say the word relax. Imagine a basketball size sphere of white light hovering about 12 inches above your head. Focus your mind to visualize it the best you can. Imagine that you see it and feel the warmth radiating down on the top of your head. Next, imagine this sphere slowly lowering and touching the crown of your head.

Take another deep breath and bring the sphere down around your head, like a helmet. Imagine if your head is filled with white light. If you were to open your eyes, the light would stream out from inside of you. Imagine that all the scattered thoughts are dissolving them. Focus on the light, feel its warmth and sense it filling your mind with peace and comfort. Breathe naturally for a few minutes. When you are ready, simply open your eyes and go back to your activities. This is great for a quick focus before an important meeting. You can do this in a parked car, your desk or in a bathroom stall.

Technique Five: Be Sensual.

Focus your attention on your five senses. This provides a mental boundary to contain your scattered mind. Being sensual simply means to be aware of your five senses. Smell the air, feel the temperature on your skin, listen to the sounds around you and to taste the food that you eat. Being sensual brings you into the present moment fast and effectively. You now have five easy ways to focus your mind and harness its power. Your mind will help you make more trustworthy decisions throughout your day and experience overall greater inner peace.

These techniques will offer fast and temporary relief of a scattered mind. For a more in-depth method that will help you heal more permanently a scattered mind and keep you centered, I recommend that you learn to meditate. If not from me, then from someone else you know and trust. I do not recommend books on meditation, because they can describe the process, but often it is difficult to follow through. Classes and weekend courses are great, but very time consuming and expensive.

Large forest fire continues to burn into third day in southern Norway

Large forest fire continues to burn into third day in southern Norway
Author: Admin Posted under: Uncategorized

Thursday, June 12, 2008

A large forest fire that started on Monday, June 9 is still out of control in the municipality of Froland in southern Norway. The fire is the largest forest fire to occur in Norway since World War II.

The fire has spread extensively and it is estimated that approximately 2,500 acres of forest have been damaged. Approximately 15 cabins are reported to have burned to the ground, but as of yet, no permanent dwellings or farms have been damaged. However, many inhabitants have been evacuated due to the fire threatening their homes, including the entire villages of Mykland and Belland. There have also been some power outages due to power lines being damaged.

Approximately 140 persons, including fire-fighters from several fire departments, and personnel from the Civil Defence and the Home Guard are working to curtail the fire. Four fire helicopters have been deployed. The fire fighting is focused on areas where the fire threatens buildings.

Extremely dry weather, and difficult wind conditions, have caused severe difficulties in fighting the fire. Fire-fighters first had hope of gaining control on the morning of Thursday, June 12, but the wind changed direction during the day, causing a large extension of the fire. There is some hope that the weekend will bring some rain; however, this will likely not be enough to stop the fire. It could take several weeks before the fire is completely extinguished.

Somali pirates release Greek ship, 19 sailors

Somali pirates release Greek ship, 19 sailors

According to East African Seafarers’ Assistance Programme Kenyan chapter head, Andrew Mwangura, the Greek freighter MV Captain Stephanos and all its 19 crew, consisting of 17 Filipinos, one Chinese and a Ukrainian, had been released late Monday, after 78 days in captivity. It was unclear, however, if any ransom was paid. The Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs said that “there are [still] 91 Filipino seafarers on board six ships still with Somali pirates.”

Somali pirates seized the Bahamas-flagged vessel on September 21 near the Horn of Africa, as the bulk carrier, was cruising in the Gulf of Aden en route and transporting coal to Europe. The captors locked the crew inside the vessel and they were not fed well. The vessel is now headed to Italy and will sail from there to Greece, to meet the ship owners.

Reuters reported that “a surge in attacks at sea this year in the busy Gulf of Aden and Indian Ocean off Somalia has pushed up insurance costs, brought the gangs tens of millions of dollars in ransoms, and prompted foreign warships to rush to the area.”

Class action launched by Australian bushfire survivors against SP AusNet

Class action launched by Australian bushfire survivors against SP AusNet
Author: Admin Posted under: Uncategorized

Wednesday, February 18, 2009

The largest class action in Victorian history was commenced at the Supreme Court of Victoria on Friday the 13th by Slidders Lawyers against electricity distribution company SP AusNet and the Brumby Government in relation to the Kilmore East fire that became part of the Kinglake complex.

Because of the lawsuit, SP AusNet SPN.AX’s shares on Monday have dropped more than 13.36 per cent or 14.5 cents, to an intra-day low of 94 cents, was at 98.5 cents at 10:38 a.m. local time, before recovering slightly to be 7.5 cents lower at A$1.01 by 1144 AEDT (0003 GMT) or 6.9 percent in Sydney trading. Shares in SP AusNet closed 3.7 percent lower at A$1.045 on Monday.

Power supplier SP AusNet said it has asked the Victoria Court regarding the status of the class action proceedings saying the firm had insurance policies in place consistent with industry standards. “SP AusNet will continue to update the market as further information becomes available,” the company said.

The claim has focused on alleged negligence by SP AusNet in its management of electricity infrastructure. It maintains most of the power lines in eastern Victoria. Its fallen power line is believed to have sparked the blaze that tore through Kinglake, Steels Creek, Strathewen, Humevale, and St Andrews. The plaintiffs include thousands of angry Kinglake farmers, small business owners, tourist operators and residents who lost homes.

Leo Keane, the lead plaintiff in the class action has alleged “SP AusNet owed a duty of care to landowners to operate and manage power lines in a way that limited the risk of damage from bushfires.”

On Thursday Phoenix Taskforce had taken away a section of power line as well as a power pole from near Kilmore East, part of a two-kilometre section of line in Kilmore East that fell during strong winds and record heat about 11am last Saturday. It was believed to have started the fire there, since within minutes a nearby pine forest was ablaze, and within six hours the bushfire had almost obliterated nearly every building in the towns in its path.

“It is believed that the claim will be made on the basis of negligent management of power lines and infrastructure,” Slidders Lawyers partner Daniel Oldham said. The law firm has announced it was helping landowners and leaseholders get compensation for the 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2009 bushfires. “If you have been burnt by the recent bushfires, please register your interest using the form below as soon as possible,” the law firm’s website stated.

The Insurance Council of Australia has placed the cost of the bushfires at about $500 million. “That means keeping electricity lines clear of trees and in a condition that won’t cause fires. They must also have systems in place to identify and prevent risks occurring,” Melbourne barrister Tim Tobin, QC, said. According to the 2006 census, Kinglake had a population of almost 1,500 people.

But SP AusNet’s legal liability has been limited at $100 million under an agreement inked by the former Kennett government with private utility operators, when the former State Electricity Commission was privatized in 1995. Accordingly, the Brumby Government could be legally obliged to pay damages of the differences amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars.

SP AusNet Ltd said some of its electricity assets have been damaged by the Victoria bushfire. “As a preliminary estimate, it is thought that damage has been sustained to approximately one per cent of SP AusNet’s electricity distribution network, mainly distribution poles, associated conductors and pole top transformers,” SP AusNet said in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). It explained that up to 6,000 homes and businesses on its network were without power due to bushfires, including the Kinglake complex fire, Beechworth fire, and fires across Gippsland including Churchill and Bunyip.

SP AusNet said the firm will cooperate fully and will assist in any fire probe. “We stand ready to assist the relevant authorities with their inquiries if it is necessary for us to do so now and in the coming months,” SP Ausnet spokeswoman Louisa Graham said in a statement.

“Our priority is to restore power to fire-affected areas as quickly as possible. We believe the claim is premature and inappropriate … SP AusNet will vigorously defend the claim. If the claim is pursued, SP AusNet advises that it has liability insurance which provides cover for bushfire liability. The company’s bushfire mitigation and vegetation management programmes comply with state regulations and were audited annually by state agencies,” Grahams explained.

Victorian Auditor-General Rob Hulls said “there was an ‘unseemly rush’ by some lawyers to sue before the cause of the fires had been fully investigated.”

“The government body had audited the network’s bushfire risk to make sure required distances between power lines and vegetation were maintained. Power companies had been given a clean bill of health, and electricity firms were judged to be ‘well prepared for the 2008-09 bushfire season.’ There were no regulations applying to the distances between poles supporting electricity lines and spans of one kilometre were not unusual,” a spokesman for Energy Safe Victoria explained.

Christine Nixon, the 19th and current Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police said investigations into the cause of the bushfires were ongoing. “I know people are angry, and so are all of us in this community. But we need to kind of have a sense that the proper processes are in place and we need to go through the investigation and through the court case,” Nixon said. “At this stage we are not able to confirm how it started. I understand there is some legal action that people are taking, but at this stage we’re still investigating its cause. But the whole circumstances of that fire are part of our Taskforce Phoenix, and as we move through that we’ll be able to tell the community more once we’re able to confirm or deny what we think is the cause of these fires,” Nixon added.

On Thursday, two people were arrested in connection with the fires, having been observed by members of the public acting suspiciously in areas between Yea and Seymour; although they were both released without charges laid.

Brendan Sokaluk, age 39, from Churchill in the Gippsland region, was arrested by police at 4pm on Thursday, in relation to the Churchill fires, and was questioned at the Morwell police station. He was charged on Friday with one count each of arson, intentionally lighting a bushfire and possession of child pornography. The arson case relates to 11 of the 21 deaths in the dire Gippsland fire, which devastated 39,000 hectares in the Latrobe Valley, Calignee, Hazelwood Koornalla and Jeeralang. Two teams of Churchill firefighters were almost lost in the inferno that remains out of control.

Mr Sokaluk joined the CFA Churchill brigade in the late 1980s as a volunteer fire fighter, left in the 1990s and attempted to rejoin twice, but was rejected. He failed to appear in Melbourne Magistrate’s Court Monday for a scheduled hearing, since the court reset the committal hearing on May 25. He is represented by lawyer Julian McMahon.

Magistrate John Klestadt has lifted the suppression order which kept the suspect’s identity a secret but identifying photographs were barred from being released. Mr Sokaluk was remanded in protective custody from Morwell to a cell in Melbourne for his own safety amid fears angry prisoners will target him and real risk of vigilante attacks. He faces a maximum sentence of 25 years imprisonment if convicted on the arson charge.

“This is an extraordinary case. The level of emotion and anger and disgust that the alleged offenses have aroused in the community is unprecedented.” Mr Sokaluk’s defense lawyer Helen Spowart argued. The prosecution has moved the Court for more time to prepare its case, saying there would be up to 200 witnesses to interview.

Slater & Gordon has indicated that they were awaiting the report of the to-be-established Royal Commission, expected in late 2010, before initiating any claims.

Armed with a $40 million budget, the Royal Commission’s Chair Justice Bernard Teague will be assisted by former Commonwealth ombudsman Ron McLeod, who led the inquiry into the 2003 Canberra bushfires, and State Services Authority Commissioner Susan Pascoe. The Commission has said its interim report is due on August 17 while the final report will be submitted by July 31, 2010.

Judge Bernard Teague has announced Tuesday he will meet with fire victims and fire authorities within the next two weeks. “We want to do that as soon as possible – probably not next week but starting to have these discussions the week after,” he said.

Julia Eileen Gillard, the Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and deputy leader of the federal Australian Labor Party (ALP) said the federal and Victorian governments would respond quickly to the royal commission’s report. “Everybody who has lived through this experience in Victoria and around the nation has asked the question: ‘Why? What can we do better?’. No one wanted to see the report “as a book on a shelf gathering dust,” she said.

Victoria bushfire experts, led by Forest Fire Victoria – a group of scientists and forestry experts – have condemned the government’s “Living with Fire” policy and the state’s failure to initiate serious fuel-reduction programs. The Victoria government had failed to seriously act on bushfire safety recommendations submitted last June by the Victorian Parliamentary Environment and Natural Resources Committee.

As death toll rises, evidence mounts of lack of planning prior to Australia’s worst bushfire. “Living with Fire” policy means Kinglake fire trucks were dispatched to an earlier fire in Kilmore, leaving Kinglake undefended. “Kinglake was left with no fire brigade and no police. The trucks had been sent to Kilmore. I’ve been in the fire brigade for 10 years. There was always a law—the trucks had to be on the hill. Because of the government we got gutted at Kinglake. They should have been getting generators ahead of the fire—so people would have had a chance of fighting it. As soon as the power went, I couldn’t keep fighting the fire at my place,” Rick and Lauren Watts, and their friend Neil Rao, spoke to the WSWS.

Rick has also criticized the lack of early warning communications systems, since emergency siren warnings in the town had been stopped some years earlier. Humevale resident Sina Imbriano who has six children was angry about the failure of state and federal governments to set up a recommended telephone warning system amid its “stay and defend or go” policy. Bald Spur Road residents Greg Jackson and his wife Fotini said the government’s “stay and defend or go” policy was “fruitless” since the critical issue was early warnings, but “they [the government] just won’t spend the money.”

Also on Friday, five law firms from Victoria’s Western Districts, including Warrnambool-based Maddens Lawyers and Brown & Proudfoot, held a meeting to discuss a potential class action in relation to the Horsham fire, which was also thought to have been started by fallen power pole that burnt vast swathes of land in Mudgegonga and Dederang, Victoria. The lawsuit will also focus on the fire that blackened about 1750 hectares at Coleraine.

Maddens senior attorney Brendan Pendergast said: “We don’t know who the defendant is at this stage. We are unsure who the electrical supplier is for that area but we should know in a few days. There were people who had their homes burnt to the ground and they will need to reconstruct, replace their contents,” he said. Maddens has initiated a register of affected landowners for the recent bushfires, saying the firm has included victims of the Pomborneit fire that burnt almost 1300 hectares in the proposed class action amid the CFA’s statement the blaze could have been deliberately lit.

Frances Esther “Fran” Bailey, Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives (1990-93 and 1996-present), representing the electorate of McEwen in Victoria said the Country Fire Authority (CFA) had told her one of the power lines had broken before the fire.

“The local CFA [Country Fire Authority] told me on that Saturday, with those very high winds, one of the lines had broken and was whipping against the ground and sparked,” she said. “Whether or not that is the cause of that terrible fire that actually took out Kinglake and maybe Marysville, the investigations will prove that, but we’ve got to do better,” she added.

Victorian Premier John Brumby said the power line claim would be examined as part of the Royal Commission into the bushfire. “No stone will be left unturned. So, I think it’s important the Royal Commission does its work. And, the Royal Commission will, of course, look at all of the factors with the fires,” Mr Brumby said. At least 550 houses were incinerated and 100 people have been killed, leaving more than 1,000 homeless in the Kinglake bushfire and surrounding areas.

Indian royal family disinherits gay scion

Manvendra Singh Gohil, the 40-year-old son of the erstwhile Maharajah of Rajpipla (India), was disowned by his formerly royal family for coming out as a gay man.

Homosexuality was effectively criminalized in India in 1861 under British colonial rule. The sodomy laws, which remain in force today, mandate penalties of up to 10 years in prison.

The Gohil family once ruled India’s Rajpipla principality. Although India abolished royalty when it gained independence from Britain in 1947, the Gohil clan is considered to be one of the wealthiest families in the south Asian nation.

Gohil’s mother put public notices in Gujarati language newspapers disavowing being his mother. “If any individual or organisation dares to (name me as his mother), it will invite contempt proceedings,” the statement said.

He said as an AIDS activist, he felt it was his duty to come out. Gohil claimed that India anti-gay laws hinder AIDS prevention among gay men since many are afraid to admit they are homosexual for fear of being jailed or blackmailed.

Gohil, who runs a non-profit AIDS foundation, told reporters he wasn’t interested in his family’s money. “I will not stake my claim to the property. I have found a family in the (gay) community and am happy working for the community,” he said in a Reuters interview.

UNAIDS estimated that 5.7 million Indians have been infected by the HIV virus. Gay organisations in India are currently trying to have the section of the Indian Penal Code that makes homosexuality a punishable offence nullified. Gay relationships are considered taboo in India’s mostly conservative society. A number of Indian organisations, including two HIV/AIDS prevention groups, have complained of being subjected to police raids and arrests in recent years.

Breast Augmentation Introduction

by

Gabriel MachuretAre you considering breast augmentation? If so, there are several things you should know before settling on any one cosmetic surgeon.

Women who chose to have breast reduction surgery are generally the most satisfied with the surgery compared others who undergo cosmetic surgery. This section discusses the different types of breast reconstructive surgery as well as cosmetic procedures such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, and breast lift. Women who have a mastectomy may also decide to have breast reconstruction, either at the same time or later on. Women who pursue reduction surgery are often trying to relieve a secondary health issue caused or exacerbated by the size of their breasts. Again, this surgery is not foolproof and should be carefully researched before going forward.

Women consider breast augmentation — or augmentation mammoplasty — for different reasons. Some women feel their breasts are too small in relation to their body contour. Women with large breasts have a greater tendency to swelling following radiation and this can take some months to settle.

Cosmetic breast surgery can bring greater self-confidence to the patient. Cosmetic breast surgery gives you a lot of individualized options for changing the size and shape of your breasts. Surgical methods and breast-implant technology have improved dramatically in recent years: breast augmentation is less invasive, with more options and better post-surgical results. Cosmetic breast surgery, or breast augmentation, is a successful way to enhance the breasts, producing a larger and fuller bust. The goal is to augment the breasts for natural-looking, enhanced results.

Health insurance rarely covers breast implant surgery, and usually only when it is related to mastectomy. It may not cover the costs of removing breast implants, even if health problems have developed, and may not cover the costs of any future tests such as MRIs that your plastic surgeon may recommend. Healing tissue is dyanmic, often for a period of months, and this dynamic character is a potential cause of an unfavorable cosmetic appearance. Gentle and frequent massage of the scar reduces thickening, stimulates revascularization and promote mobility and elasticity of the skin. Breast surgery is tailored to each individual patient and a number of decisions need to be made with regards to the procedure. The selection of the breast implant shape and texture, fill material (silicone versus saline), position and incision location are all decisions which are undertaken with the patient and tailored to her individual need.Breast Implants is the fastest and easiest way to find a breast implant surgeon in your area.

Breast Implants also offers the best free information about breast implants, breast implant surgery, breast augmentation, saline and silicone breast implants, and breast enlargement. Breast implants are medical devices. Like all medical devices, they provide certain benefits, but also pose certain health risks. Breast implants have become a worldwide multi-billion dollar industry based on cultivating women’s insecurities about their bodies, while failing to prove that implants are safe over the long-term. In 2006, after a 14 year ban, the Food and Drug Administration approved marketing silicone-gel breast implants to women aged 22 and older.Breast Augmentation Beverly Hills
